Mrs. Deskins Kindergarten class have been learning about natural resources this week. They read a story about taking wheat and turning it into flour and then into bread. Then they learned about all the different kinds of bread. Today, they made homemade butter and tasted 4 different kinds of bread - naan, baguette, sourdough (with butter) and Asiago cheese bread. They ate EVERY crumb. #resfunlearning #ittakesavillage

Elementary students from Tazewell County Public Schools enjoyed a weekend of celebrating history. On Friday, students toured Monticello. On Saturday, qualifying students participated in the State Level of Virginia 's History Day. On Sunday, students were treated to a tour of the Virginia Capitol. All of these students represented Tazewell County very well! We are so proud of everyone, especially our 7 RES students who attended this weekend. #RESFunLearning
