
Our RES Choir students did fantastic with their spring concert. We are so proud of them and all their hard work preparing for this concert. We celebrated Ms. Lindsay Buchanan this past week as part of National Assistant Principals week. We are grateful for her and for all she does for our school. She does an amazing job supporting our students and staff. Thank you, Ms. Buchanan!

Pre-Kindergarten/HS/EHS Registration Event for
Richlands Elementary and Cedar Bluff Elementary
At Richlands High School Football Field

We will have several stations and a drawing for bicycles.

RES 5th graders enjoyed the instrument petting zoo put on by the RHS Band. Our students enjoyed learning about and trying out each instrument.

RES is celebrating Autism Awareness this week, March 31-April 4.


Bus Changes-3/28/25
Richlands Area:
Bus 5 will not run this evening. Buses 1, 64, 65, and 14 will bring those students home.
Tazewell Area:
Bus 20 will not run this evening. Buses 48, 34, and 33 will bring those students home.


Congratulations to the RES 5th grade Reading Bee team on being the overall winners!


The 4th and 5th grade Reading Bee teams at RES competed today! We want to congratulate each of the students and coaches. You did an amazing job and represented RES well!



RES students in ECSE, Pre-K, 1st, and 2nd grade were blessed to watch The RHS Drama Club present The Wizard of Oz today. It was amazing!

Richlands Elementary is having a Title I Family Engagement Night on April 3 from 4-6 pm. Everyone is welcome.
